There are different privacy options for Varadero Rent Houses you must know when start and planning the reservation process. In Varadero exist more than 100 legal rent houses which allows not only Cubans but also tourist from other countries. In many cases you can hear there is only one room for rent, or an apartment from a house for rent, or an entire house for rent, etc., you can also hear about facilities like kitchen, full equipped kitchen, or mini-bar… In all cases the cost is similar (due to taxes) no matter the type of properties or location, all depends of your needs and availability.

In this guide we provide the explanation for the different private options and other facilities so you can select the proper rent house for your vacations in Varadero.

Rent House Privacy Options

There are 2 kinds of rents in Varadero: Entire Houses or Private Rooms.

An Entire Rent House has as minimum:

A kitchen or a pantry with fridge or mini-bar,
a bathroom,
a bedroom,
and main entrance.

Other spaces are optional; it means not all of them have it, like living room, hall, corridor, portal, garage or car porch, etc… In all cases they are mentioned in the rent house description and details.

A Private Room has as minimum:

A bathroom,
and a bedroom,

In most cases also have a fridge or mini-bar and other facilities.

The other factor to keep in mind is if the owners stay near the house you rent or if they don't.

In the first case, when the owner lives near the rent house, means that they have prepared a part of their entire house to rent and the other to live with their family. These parts are perfectly defined for rent and for the owners. Most cases the entrance for both parts are separated and you don't even see them at least you call them or they visit you to provide some kind of service they could offer.

The second case is when the owner lives in other house far from the one they use for rent. In this case you rent a house and you are the only one who is living it. Also the owner visits it in case you need it or for provide some kind of service like cleaning.

So, it would be 3 kinds of rent houses you could rent:

Entire and Private Rent Houses
Entire Rent Houses with Owners
Private rooms

Entire and Private Rent Houses

An "Entire and Private Rent House" would be the one where you have as minimum a kitchen or pantry with fridge or mini-bar, one or more bathrooms, one or more bedroom, and main entrance and others like living room, hall, corridor, portal, garage or car porch, etc… and the owners lives in other house far from the one they use for rent.

For example in this category qualify these rent houses:

Entire Rent House with Owners

An "Entire Rent House with Owners" would be the one where you have as minimum a kitchen or pantry with fridge or mini-bar, one or more bathrooms, one or more bedroom, and main entrance and others like living room, hall, corridor, portal, garage or car porch, etc… and the owners lives in another part of the house and is perfectly define the rent part and their living part of the house.

Private room

A "Private room" would be a room as part of a house where owners or/and other guests share the living-room, the dining room and other spaces from the house. A private room has as minimum a bathroom and a bedroom. In most cases also have a fridge or mini-bar and other facilities or maybe a pantry.

What's the difference between these privacy categories?

First of all is up to you, sometimes is availability. You may want a specific rent house and is unavailable so you may change to another type of rent house.
